PDF Ebook Security

Hello Laura,

I have been receiving your emails since October of 2007 and I have a question about PDF ebook security.

I have googled this but I want to know what is your opinion.

I want to publish ebooks but I'm concerned about plagiarism. I would like to know what is the best way to prevent ebook theft, increase pdf ebook security, make sure every download from my website can't be duplicated or that people cannot send my pdf's by email to others.

I know how to create pdf files, I perhaps could figure out how to upload them to a server, but that is all I know, but how to set up ebooks for download, how to prevent unauthorized usage of my ebooks, those issues are still a mystery for me.

I am writing and illustrating children's books, never published before. I also have ideas for other projects, all to be sold as ebooks but I feel my lack of knowledge on the above issues is stopping me.

Please help me figure this out.

BTW, I'm bilingual Spanish-English.
